Northward
The St. Johns River in Northeast Florida is one of the few in the United States that flows north. Indigenous groups lived along the river for hundreds of years until European contact in the 17th century. The installation provides moments of heightened sensual awareness in recognition of a time when the landscape was considered sacred and treated with respect.
Collaboration with poet Liz Robbins.
